But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Khurram Mir couldn't finish the play. Chelmsford United's Erenay Özben played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shaukat Qazi in the 16th minute of play. When Khurram Mir fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Barcelona's protests and gave Khurram Mir a yellow card for diving instead. Khurram Mir kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. If Junaid ul-Hassan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When FC Barcelona's Junaid ul-Hassan in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chelmsford United's goalie prevented a goal. 30 minutes into the match, Chelmsford United's goal looked a bit too open when Ansar Arslan came free, but Erenay Özben reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Junaid ul-Hassan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Zain Akbar fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Barcelona's protests and gave Zain Akbar a yellow card for diving instead. If Ansar Arslan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Junaid ul-Hassan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erenay Özben having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Chelmsford United's goal looked a bit too open when Ansar Arslan came free, but Erenay Özben reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ansar Arslan made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Chelmsford United got a freekick which was hit by Dany-Adams Van De Gehuchte. After a rather tough play, FC Barcelona's Shaukat Qazi got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Subhan Akhtar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rahman Tabeer in the 54th minute of the match. Erenay Özben made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ansar Arslan in the 60th minute of play. Ansar Arslan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Subhan Akhtar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rahman Tabeer, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Freddie Runeberg hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dany-Adams Van De Gehuchte in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Subhan Akhtar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Subhan Akhtar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rahman Tabeer, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Erenay Özben made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Ansar Arslan sent off a good shot on target. Subhan Akhtar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rahman Tabeer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Subhan Akhtar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rahman Tabeer in the 89th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the FC Barcelona players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
