When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Yaqoot Al Hammady put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of 孔邦政. In the 19th minute Nabel Al Abdullah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 孔邦政 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Sharjah Sports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Madureira to maneuver through the defense. After 22 played minutes Sharjah Sports got a freekick which was hit by Hamzah Bo Abbas. 孔邦政 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nabel Al Abdullah in the 26th minute of the match. Fryderyk Brataniec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eyad Al Sallal, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After having played for 41 minutes, Nabel Al Abdullah managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Al Jumeirah FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nabel Al Abdullah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
