The audience thought a goal was coming when Belal Kakoli got free with Hussain Al Ramzi in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute of the match, Sobah Shrean tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hussain Al Ramzi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bedlington! The referee gave Downhamm Market FC a penalty, 23 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Khalel Al Ghanem, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bedlington's Hussain Al Ramzi. 1-0. Hussain Al Ramzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sobah Shrean in the 26th minute of the match. Hussain Al Ramzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sobah Shrean, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Hussain Al Ramzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sobah Shrean's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. With a little luck, Bedlington's Hussain Al Ramzi got control of the ball when Belal Kakoli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Belal Kakoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Hussain Al Ramzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Downhamm Market FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelnaser Al Shati came free, but Ayman Al Bloshi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute Sobah Shrean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hussain Al Ramzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Belal Kakoli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Hussain Al Ramzi made a huge save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sobah Shrean to make the kick off. Manaf Al Shati's late challenge caught a Downhamm Market FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manaf Al Shati helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bedlington's Manaf Al Shati got a free kick in the 51st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Sobah Shrean managed to get in a good position for a shot. Downhamm Market FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sobah Shrean was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hussain Al Ramzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Bedlington's Jarah Al Balool got a free kick in the 54th minute. Sobah Shrean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fawaz Al Motaire charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fawaz Al Motaire the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st minute Sobah Shrean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hussain Al Ramzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Sobah Shrean got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ali Al Ammar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute Sobah Shrean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hussain Al Ramzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Abdelnaser Al Shati reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ayman Al Bloshi. The goal made the score 2-1. Belal Kakoli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hussain Al Ramzi having to interfere. Ramadan Al Ammar hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Belal Kakoli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sobah Shrean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hussain Al Ramzi having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Nabel Al Hashash hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bedlington's Hussain Al Ramzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belal Kakoli in the 92nd minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
