Waheed Al Hajri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Waheed Al Hajri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taqi Khorshed in the 39th minute of the match. Waheed Al Hajri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taqi Khorshed, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 44 minutes of play, Timperley's Taqi Khorshed made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Waheed Al Hajri was left in no man's land by his defense there! 48 minutes into the game, Taqi Khorshed cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Waheed Al Hajri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yazeed Al Dabos to strike the kick off in the second half. If Taqi Khorshed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Faisal Jiragh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waheed Al Hajri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Wakefield's Luai Al Hajraf got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wakefield's goalkeeper Waheed Al Hajri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 66 minutes, Waleed Bahbhani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Timperley and the Wakefield players grew even worse after the yellow card. Waleed Bahbhani kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Yazeed Al Dabos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wakefield's supporters rose to their feet, but Yazeed Al Dabos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jamal Al Rodhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 75 played minutes Timperley got a freekick which was hit by Khalaf Al Shati. After a defensive mix-up in Timperley's zone, Yazeed Al Dabos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jamal Al Rodhan came out of the goal and Yazeed Al Dabos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Taqi Khorshed struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Waheed Al Hajri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Timperley. 81 minutes into the match, Timperley's Taqi Khorshed sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Waheed Al Hajri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Waheed Al Hajri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faisal Jiragh in the 82nd minute of play. Waleed Bahbhani hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After 90 minutes, Moath Al Muwail made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Timperley's Jamal Al Rodhan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jamal Al Rodhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yazeed Al Dabos in the 93rd minute of the match. Taqi Khorshed's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waheed Al Hajri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Taqi Khorshed managed to get in a good position for a shot.
