Abdul Rahman Al Shaikh came out of the goal and Moath Al Hammady tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zahid Al Hajraf's late challenge caught a Nasser FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zahid Al Hajraf helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Nasser FC booed when Arab Kingdom FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zahid Al Hajraf didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 7 played minutes Nasser FC got a freekick which was hit by Naji Al Balool. Anwar Al Dosery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barrak Al Holey in the 9th minute of play. Ebrahem Al Wazan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anwar Al Dosery. Nasser FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 17th minute, Tariq Al Habshi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Nasser FC booed when Arab Kingdom FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aadil Al Dekhel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moath Al Hammady succeeded in the game's 20th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Anwar Al Dosery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barrak Al Holey, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Nasser FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Moath Al Hammady hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Moath Al Hammady fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. Sultan Abo Al Hasan came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Anwar Al Dosery could save by the left post. When Yousef Al Towatan fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arab Kingdom FC's protests and gave Yousef Al Towatan a yellow card for diving instead. Yousef Al Towatan hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Abdul Rahman Al Shaikh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moath Al Hammady in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tariq Al Habshi in the 38th minute of play forced Arab Kingdom FC's goalkeeper Abdul Rahman Al Shaikh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Arab Kingdom FC's goalkeeper Abdul Rahman Al Shaikh, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Moath Al Hammady blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdul Rahman Al Shaikh having to make a save. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Barrak Al Holey made a kick off. Abdul Rahman Al Shaikh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moath Al Hammady, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anwar Al Dosery came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Arab Kingdom FC's Sultan Abo Al Hasan. But to his dismay, Sultan Abo Al Hasan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 61st minute Barrak Al Holey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anwar Al Dosery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Jalal Bo Resley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arab Kingdom FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. 72 minutes into the match, Arab Kingdom FC's goalkeeper Abdul Rahman Al Shaikh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tariq Al Habshi. After having played for 79 minutes, Moath Al Hammady managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nasser FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moath Al Hammady was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tariq Al Habshi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moath Al Hammady received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Abdul Rahman Al Shaikh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Nabel Al Motar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
