Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fahhad Al Mofede started the match with the kick off. Ameen Al Harban had several of the St Annes on Sea's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 3 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Raed Al Khobaize as he didn't even see the shot coming. Yahya Dehrab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raed Al Khobaize having to interfere. Yahya Dehrab who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Raed Al Khobaize when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 15 minutes into the game, Birmingham Selly Oak's Yahya Dehrab nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raed Al Khobaize made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Sadeq Al Sharah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 24 minutes, Fahhad Al Mofede managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. St Annes on Sea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fahhad Al Mofede was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Birmingham Selly Oak's Yahya Dehrab got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ameen Al Harban's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raed Al Khobaize read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Ameen Al Harban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raed Al Khobaize having to interfere. Raed Al Khobaize made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ameen Al Harban in the 35th minute of play. Fahhad Al Mofede's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Moath Al Bloshi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ameen Al Harban stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yahya Dehrab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Raed Al Khobaize tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in St Annes on Sea's zone, Yahya Dehrab stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raed Al Khobaize came out of the goal and Yahya Dehrab tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Meshal Al Banai kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Ameen Al Harban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Raed Al Khobaize tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Birmingham Selly Oak's Ameen Al Harban sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raed Al Khobaize narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Ameen Al Harban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yahya Dehrab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yahya Dehrab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Raed Al Khobaize tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yahya Dehrab in the 70th minute of play forced St Annes on Sea's goalkeeper Raed Al Khobaize to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raed Al Khobaize took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yahya Dehrab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. St Annes on Sea's Raed Al Khobaize played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yahya Dehrab in the 79th minute of play. Raed Al Khobaize showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ameen Al Harban in the 83rd minute of the match. When Birmingham Selly Oak's Yahya Dehrab in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye St Annes on Sea's goalie prevented a goal. Birmingham Selly Oak's Mosaed Shabakhoh got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raed Al Khobaize made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yahya Dehrab in the 91st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in St Annes on Sea's zone, Yahya Dehrab stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raed Al Khobaize came out of the goal and Yahya Dehrab tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. St Annes on Sea's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
