Spectators: 7818 (Terracing: 5890, Seating: 1806, VIP seats: 122) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Msaed Khorshed took the kick off in the first half of the match. Omar Dashti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mosa Al Ali, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 9th minute, Shaheen Al Hajri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Omar Dashti was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mosa Al Ali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Omar Dashti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Shaheen Al Hajri came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Hartlepool fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shaheen Al Hajri couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Broadstairs FC's Msaed Khorshed slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mamdouh Al Zamel. That made the score 1-1 after 18 minutes of play. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Mosa Al Ali sped through Broadstairs FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Omar Dashti. After 30 played minutes Broadstairs FC got a freekick which was hit by Ammar Al Dabos. Nasser Baroun was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Mosa Al Ali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Dashti having to interfere. 35 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Hartlepool's Shaheen Al Hajri fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 38th minute of the match Hartlepool got a corner. Broadstairs FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nasser Baroun ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nasser Baroun made a great header on Hartlepool's corner, it was just that Broadstairs FC's Omar Dashti managed to reach the ball for a save. Mosa Al Ali spun around in front of the goal 40 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Broadstairs FC's goal. 42 minutes into the game, Hartlepool's Mosa Al Ali nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Omar Dashti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After some careless play in the Broadstairs FC defense, Mosa Al Ali kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Omar Dashti. The Broadstairs FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Omar Dashti should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mosa Al Ali to make the kick off. Broadstairs FC's Omar Dashti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Broadstairs FC from getting a goal against them. In the 55th match minute, Broadstairs FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ammar Al Dabos to maneuver through the defense. But to his dismay, Shaheen Al Hajri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. In the 73rd minute, Yaseen Al Zamel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nasser Baroun took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Omar Dashti. Broadstairs FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Mosa Al Ali came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Hartlepool fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mosa Al Ali couldn't finish the play. A hard shot by Mansour Al Asuosi from long distance, 83 minutes into the match, got Omar Dashti's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 85th minute Mosa Al Ali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Dashti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Dashti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mosa Al Ali in the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mosa Al Ali in the 93rd minute of play forced Broadstairs FC's goalkeeper Omar Dashti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shaheen Al Hajri struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Omar Dashti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hartlepool. In the 96th minute, Mosa Al Ali got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mosa Al Ali in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Omar Dashti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hartlepool played a much better game than Broadstairs FC and deserved their victory. The Broadstairs FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
