Mubarek Al Sherazi made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Habib Al Homaithe sent off a good shot on target. Southbourne's attack was well implemented in the 9th minute, but when Habib Al Homaithe was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Habib Al Homaithe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Mubarek Al Sherazi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 13 minutes into the match, Southbourne's Yasen Al Ateqi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mubarek Al Sherazi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sutton Coldfield's Mubarek Al Sherazi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yasen Al Ateqi in the 15th minute of play. Habib Al Homaithe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the game, Habib Al Homaithe lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Mubarek Al Sherazi. When Yasen Al Ateqi came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Southbourne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yasen Al Ateqi couldn't finish the play. Yasen Al Ateqi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yasen Al Ateqi had several of the Sutton Coldfield's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 28 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Mubarek Al Sherazi as he didn't even see the shot coming. 31 minutes into the match, Sutton Coldfield's goalkeeper Mubarek Al Sherazi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Qasem Al Bloshi. Sutton Coldfield's Mubarek Al Sherazi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yasen Al Ateqi in the 32nd minute of play. Yasen Al Ateqi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Habib Al Homaithe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Mubarek Al Sherazi made a huge save. Mubarek Al Sherazi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yasen Al Ateqi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Habib Al Homaithe might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mubarek Al Sherazi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Habib Al Homaithe ran back to his position shaking his head. Habib Al Homaithe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Habib Al Homaithe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Southbourne's supporters rose to their feet, but Habib Al Homaithe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mubarek Al Sherazi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yasen Al Ateqi made a kick off. Habib Al Homaithe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Emad Al Mulaifi made a great header on Southbourne's corner, it was just that Sutton Coldfield's Mubarek Al Sherazi managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yasen Al Ateqi in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mubarek Al Sherazi saved Sutton Coldfield from getting behind. If Habib Al Homaithe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mubarek Al Sherazi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dhari Dashti in the 61st minute of the match. Southbourne's Yasen Al Ateqi got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 66 minutes, Tariq Kamal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sutton Coldfield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tariq Kamal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 72 minutes of play, Southbourne's Yasen Al Ateqi made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mubarek Al Sherazi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Habib Al Homaithe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Mubarek Al Sherazi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 minutes, Rashed Shalan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sutton Coldfield and the Southbourne players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Habib Al Homaithe fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Southbourne's protests and gave Habib Al Homaithe a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Habib Al Homaithe in the 81st minute of play forced Sutton Coldfield's goalkeeper Mubarek Al Sherazi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mubarek Al Sherazi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yasen Al Ateqi in the 84th minute of the match. Southbourne's Yasen Al Ateqi got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yasen Al Ateqi in the 96th minute of play forced Sutton Coldfield's goalkeeper Mubarek Al Sherazi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Southbourne walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
