Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zahid Shabakhoh in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sari Al Dosery prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zahid Shabakhoh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zahid Shabakhoh in the 17th minute of play forced Southbourne's goalkeeper Sari Al Dosery to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sayer Abol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Habib Al Homaithe in the 24th minute of play. Habib Al Homaithe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sayer Abol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yasen Al Ateqi's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Southbourne's Yasen Al Ateqi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sayer Abol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Yasen Al Ateqi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Habib Al Homaithe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Sayer Abol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Baqer Al Hajri fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Southbourne's protests and gave Baqer Al Hajri a yellow card for diving instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yasen Al Ateqi was the one to do the kick off. Aamir Al Ajmi hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Yasen Al Ateqi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Southbourne's supporters rose to their feet, but Yasen Al Ateqi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sayer Abol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zahid Shabakhoh in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sari Al Dosery saved Southbourne from getting behind. In the 64th minute, Habib Al Homaithe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Yaqoub Bo Resley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sari Al Dosery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zahid Shabakhoh in the 67th minute of play. Habib Al Homaithe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Rackenford City's Sayer Abol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Rackenford City from getting a goal against them. Sayer Abol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yasen Al Ateqi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Southbourne played a much better game than Rackenford City and deserved their victory. The Rackenford City players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
