Spectators: 6814 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1814, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Taqi Al Khobaize started the match with the kick off. Taqi Al Khobaize recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamdan Al Mothaf couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waheed Al Mahmed during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th minute, Waheed Al Mahmed hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Mossley's zone, Edrees Al Banai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salim Hayat came out of the goal and Edrees Al Banai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Hamdan Al Mothaf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waheed Al Mahmed was shown his second yellow card after 16 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Waheed Al Mahmed kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 17th minute of the match Esmael Al Motaire sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Salim Hayat skillfully saved the ball. Edrees Al Banai kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Adem Al Asuosi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Salim Hayat made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Adem Al Asuosi took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Salim Hayat to make any attempt to save it. Salem Al Naqi struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Esam Shabakhoh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mossley. If Adem Al Asuosi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adem Al Asuosi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Salim Hayat made a huge save. Salim Hayat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adem Al Asuosi in the 33rd minute. In the 40th minute Salem Al Naqi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esam Shabakhoh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Mossley booed when Hove was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edrees Al Banai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salem Al Naqi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esam Shabakhoh having to interfere. Adem Al Asuosi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Salim Hayat having to make a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Hamdan Al Mothaf made the kick off in the second half. Salim Hayat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamdan Al Mothaf, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute, Taqi Al Khobaize hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 minutes, Hamdan Al Mothaf made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Mossley's Salim Hayat tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Adem Al Asuosi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Salim Hayat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Hove's Adem Al Asuosi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Salim Hayat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. When Hamdan Al Mothaf came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Hove fans jumped to their feet. A very good chance for a goal. 87 minutes into the match, Hove's goalkeeper Esam Shabakhoh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Salem Al Naqi. Hamdan Al Mothaf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Salim Hayat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamdan Al Mothaf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adem Al Asuosi in the 93rd minute of play forced Mossley's goalkeeper Salim Hayat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salem Al Naqi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adem Al Asuosi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Salim Hayat having to make a save.
