The Sawaza fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Sawaza's Bashar Al Sarraf looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Sawaza getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Hamdan Shadad hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the game, Bashar Al Sarraf cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Awwad Baroun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th minute, Bader Al Rodhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Fadhel Bo Qamaz came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Bourne End fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fadhel Bo Qamaz couldn't finish the play. Fadhel Bo Qamaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ghanim Al Hajri having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Fadhel Bo Qamaz made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Sawaza's zone, Yaseen Al Saleh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ghanim Al Hajri came out of the goal and Yaseen Al Saleh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yaseen Al Saleh struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Ghanim Al Hajri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bourne End. Ghanim Al Hajri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yaseen Al Saleh in the 68th minute of the match. Bourne End's Fadhel Bo Qamaz got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yaseen Al Saleh struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Ghanim Al Hajri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bourne End. 81 minutes into the match, Fadhel Bo Qamaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ghanim Al Hajri. Sawaza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fadhel Bo Qamaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Malik Al Hammady managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bourne End's supporters rose to their feet, but Malik Al Hammady was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ghanim Al Hajri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 88 minutes into the match, Sawaza's goal looked a bit too open when Yaseen Al Saleh came free, but Ghanim Al Hajri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bashar Al Sarraf struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Awwad Baroun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sawaza.
