Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Chilcompton's goal looked a bit too open when Moath Al Sarraf came free, but Sultan Al Zamel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute, Nemir Boften hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Chilcompton's Wael Al Khars got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Basem Al Hadad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moath Al Sarraf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Chilcompton getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Baqer Al Jarah hit a great ball. Chilcompton's Sultan Al Zamel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basem Al Hadad in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Basem Al Hadad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sultan Al Zamel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Al-Wasl SC were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Chilcompton's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Habib Al Khames took the corner. The corner led Al-Wasl SC's Habib Al Khames to fire away a dangerous shot which Sultan Al Zamel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nemir Boften fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shabeb Al Khames having to interfere. After 46 minutes, Adem Al Mosawe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Al-Wasl SC and the Chilcompton players grew even worse after the yellow card. 46 minutes into the game, one of Al-Wasl SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Shabeb Al Khames, was totally fooled by Chilcompton's Sajid Al Attar, who 48 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After the first half Al-Wasl SC were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saed Al Sharaf made a kick off. Sultan Al Zamel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moath Al Sarraf in the 56th minute. After having played for 63 minutes, Moath Al Sarraf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Al-Wasl SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moath Al Sarraf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chilcompton's Sultan Al Zamel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basem Al Hadad in the 65th minute of play. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Chilcompton's goalkeeper Sultan Al Zamel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Basem Al Hadad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Basem Al Hadad dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sultan Al Zamel, 2-4. The supporters of Al-Wasl SC booed when Chilcompton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baqer Al Jarah didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Nemir Boften was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chilcompton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Al-Wasl SC the free kick. In the 82nd match minute, Chilcompton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemir Boften to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Al-Wasl SC's zone, Baqer Al Jarah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shabeb Al Khames came out of the goal and Baqer Al Jarah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Basem Al Hadad came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Al-Wasl SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basem Al Hadad couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Moath Al Sarraf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Al-Wasl SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Moath Al Sarraf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sultan Al Zamel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sultan Al Zamel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basem Al Hadad in the 93rd minute of the match. When Moath Al Sarraf came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Al-Wasl SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moath Al Sarraf couldn't finish the play. Sultan Al Zamel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basem Al Hadad, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
