Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Basem Al Hadad made the kick off which started today's match. Basem Al Hadad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Basel Mandane having to make a save. 7 minutes into the match, DEIR MAWAS's goal looked a bit too open when Basem Al Hadad came free, but Basel Mandane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basel Mandane stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basem Al Hadad's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Basel Mandane came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Al-Wasl SC's Fakher Al Arbash. But to his dismay, Fakher Al Arbash quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind DEIR MAWAS's goalkeeper Basel Mandane, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Shabeb Al Khames stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gwidon Dombrowski's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Moath Al Sarraf took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Basel Mandane. Basel Mandane dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When Fakher Al Arbash came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Al-Wasl SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fakher Al Arbash couldn't finish the play. Shabeb Al Khames made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ebrahem Shams in the 34th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Gwidon Dombrowski took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Shabeb Al Khames to make any attempt to save it. If Moath Al Sarraf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basem Al Hadad in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basel Mandane saved DEIR MAWAS from getting behind. The DEIR MAWAS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Al-Wasl SC were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gwidon Dombrowski was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, DEIR MAWAS's Basel Mandane got control of the ball when Moath Al Sarraf tried to sneak it across the goal line. Al-Wasl SC's Basem Al Hadad got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Habib Al Khames could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Basel Mandane made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basem Al Hadad in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basel Mandane prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Al-Wasl SC's Shabeb Al Khames played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwidon Dombrowski in the 58th minute of play. Moath Al Sarraf came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Basel Mandane could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wasel Al Wazan in the 63rd minute of play forced Al-Wasl SC's goalkeeper Shabeb Al Khames to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to DEIR MAWAS getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Eesa Shams hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, DEIR MAWAS's Shaban Al Qatam got a free kick in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the match, DEIR MAWAS's goalkeeper Basel Mandane had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moath Al Sarraf. Shabeb Al Khames showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwidon Dombrowski in the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Dombrowski in the 75th minute of play forced Al-Wasl SC's goalkeeper Shabeb Al Khames to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 played minutes Al-Wasl SC got a freekick which was hit by Sultan Al Sharah. Shabeb Al Khames made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shaban Al Qatam in the 77th minute of play. Basem Al Hadad struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Basel Mandane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Al-Wasl SC. DEIR MAWAS's Basel Mandane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basem Al Hadad in the 94th minute of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Basem Al Hadad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Al-Wasl SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basem Al Hadad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Al-Wasl SC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
