One of MCFC ᴳ⁸³:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Al-Nassr Football Club:s goal. Sayer Al Hindi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hao Jian, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Eesa Shalan kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marciano Macon was the one to do the kick off. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 79 played minutes Al-Nassr Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Eesa Shalan. Marciano Macon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Sayer Al Hindi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Hao Jian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sayer Al Hindi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Marciano Macon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sayer Al Hindi having to make a save.
