In the 13th minute, Sarhan Al Ajmi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fakher Dashti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute Saleh Al Dabos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jamal Bo Abbas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esmael Al Jalahma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jamal Bo Abbas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Al Shabab Al Arabi Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Fakher Dashti kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. When Al Shabab Al Arabi Club's Saleh Al Dabos in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Upwell FC's goalie prevented a goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saleh Al Dabos was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, Al Shabab Al Arabi Club's Jamal Bo Abbas threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Saleh Al Dabos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jamal Bo Abbas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saleh Al Dabos in the 59th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Malik Shalan during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Al Shabab Al Arabi Club booed when Upwell FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Al Shabab Al Arabi Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Fakher Dashti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jamal Bo Abbas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Saleh Al Dabos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saleh Al Dabos in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jamal Bo Abbas saved Upwell FC from getting behind. Edrees Al Hashash struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Jamal Bo Abbas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Al Shabab Al Arabi Club.
