After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Fuad Al Khars stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrew Sinclair's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Sajid Al Dowaisan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saif Al Mehana. djiwns's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sajid Al Dowaisan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Ameer Al Naqi sped through Al Barsha's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fuad Al Khars. Ameer Al Naqi's late challenge caught a Al Barsha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ameer Al Naqi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Al Barsha booed when djiwns was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position.
