Wasel Al Bahar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Eriberto Amorim made a huge save. Shjae Al Sallal's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eriberto Amorim firmly grabbed it by the left post. Basel Al Sharaf hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Yazeed Dehrab left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saleh Al Dabos in the 44th minute of play forced Sharjah FC's goalkeeper Joop Minnen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Al Shabab Al Arabi Club's Eriberto Amorim got control of the ball when Shjae Al Sallal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. Sharjah FC's Joop Minnen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Sharjah FC from getting a goal against them. Sharjah FC's Joop Minnen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saleh Al Dabos in the 69th minute of play.
