Spectators: 9000 (Terracing: 6750, Seating: 2070, VIP seats: 180) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Riad Kakoli kicked off to start the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Riad Kakoli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving David Drent. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. If Adham Bo Abbas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saif Al Mehana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eshaq Abol, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Msaed Kakoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Saif Al Mehana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saif Al Mehana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Msaed Kakoli went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. David Drent made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adham Bo Abbas in the 38th minute. Saif Al Mehana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Awwad Al Ansari went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Al Whada FC's Msaed Kakoli got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Al Whada FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Salah Al Sarraf came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Al Whada FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salah Al Sarraf couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute djiwns were awarded a corner. Qutaiba Shrean went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of djiwns booed when Al Whada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moner Hayat didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Awwad Al Ansari came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Al Whada FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Awwad Al Ansari couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the game, Aadil Al Balool recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Saif Al Mehana. Aadil Al Balool showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Saif Al Mehana came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Al Whada FC's Eshaq Abol. But to his dismay, Eshaq Abol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 77th minute, Awwad Al Ansari made a precise shot to the right of Saif Al Mehana. djiwns's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. After 86 minutes of play, djiwns's Adham Bo Abbas made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Drent was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eshaq Abol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Saif Al Mehana made a huge save. Msaed Kakoli kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. When Barakat Al Khars fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Al Whada FC's protests and gave Barakat Al Khars a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Al Whada FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Barakat Al Khars hit a great ball. Al Whada FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
