The tension between the Margate and the Sharjah FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Riad Al Shemali hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 8 played minutes Margate got a freekick which was hit by Fahad Al Matrok. Fadhel Al Ateqi hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sror Al Adsani during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sror Al Adsani kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. When Wasel Al Bahar came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Sharjah FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wasel Al Bahar couldn't finish the play. Margate's Salem Bo Hamad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yazeed Dehrab in the 20th minute of play. When Yazeed Dehrab came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Sharjah FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yazeed Dehrab couldn't finish the play. After 24 minutes, Wasel Al Bahar made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Margate's Salem Bo Hamad tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Wasel Al Bahar in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Salem Bo Hamad, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 27th match minute, Margate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sror Al Adsani to maneuver through the defense. Riad Al Shemali was shown his second yellow card after 28 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Margate getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Riad Al Shemali hit a great ball. When Wasel Al Bahar came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Sharjah FC fans jumped to their feet. Salem Bo Hamad was a little too slow when Yazeed Dehrab got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 2-0. Firas Al Mothaf's late challenge caught a Sharjah FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Firas Al Mothaf helped the player get up and apologised. 39 minutes into the game, one of Margate:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fahad Al Matrok's late challenge caught a Sharjah FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fahad Al Matrok helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Margate's Fahad Al Matrok got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Margate's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Wasel Al Bahar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Wasel Al Bahars short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Salem Bo Hamad to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Joop Minnen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fahad Al Matrok in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Fadhel Al Ateqi hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Salem Bo Hamad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wasel Al Bahar in the 56th minute of play. When Fadhel Al Ateqi fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Margate's protests and gave Fadhel Al Ateqi a yellow card for diving instead. Fadhel Al Ateqi kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Salem Bo Hamad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wasel Al Bahar in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute Meshal Al Herz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salem Bo Hamad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Margate getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Sror Al Adsani hit a great ball. Margate's Sror Al Adsani got his second yellow card of the match in the 72nd minute. The referee ordered Sror Al Adsani off the ground. Ayman Jiragh was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yazeed Dehrab in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salem Bo Hamad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Salem Bo Hamad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wasel Al Bahar in the 77th minute of the match. When Fahad Al Matrok was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. The supporters of Sharjah FC booed when Margate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fahad Al Matrok didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yazeed Dehrab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Salem Bo Hamad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Wasel Al Bahar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Salem Bo Hamad. Margate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wasel Al Bahar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Salem Bo Hamad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yazeed Dehrab in the 89th minute of the match. After 93 played minutes Margate got a freekick which was hit by Sanad Al Mosawe. After a rather tough play, Margate's Sanad Al Mosawe got a free kick in the 94th minute. Sharjah FC were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Margate's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ayman Jiragh took the corner. There was no doubt that Sharjah FC were the better team. Sharjah FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
