After a defensive mix-up in MCFC ᴳ⁸³'s zone, Jalal Jiragh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Hermes came out of the goal and Jalal Jiragh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Marciano Macon came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the MCFC ᴳ⁸³ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marciano Macon couldn't finish the play. Godfredo Corderun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Msaed Shalan made a huge save. Roger Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seraj Al Kandere in the 28th minute of play. Roger Hermes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yaqoot Al Saleh, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marciano Macon to make the kick off. MCFC ᴳ⁸³'s Roger Hermes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save MCFC ᴳ⁸³ from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Glastonbury booed when MCFC ᴳ⁸³ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasile Baniciu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rajab Al Sallal's late challenge caught a MCFC ᴳ⁸³'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rajab Al Sallal helped the player get up and apologised. Roger Hermes came out of the goal and Seraj Al Kandere tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Glastonbury had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
