Spectators: 9398 (Terracing: 7050, Seating: 2161, VIP seats: 187) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wasel Al Bahar kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute, Rajab Al Sallal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 9 minutes, Saed Al Hindi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glastonbury and the Sharjah FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Saed Al Hindi kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wasel Al Bahar got free with Msaed Shalan in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yaqoot Al Saleh in the 15th minute of play forced Sharjah FC's goalkeeper Joop Minnen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jaber Al Motar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fadhel Al Bloshi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joop Minnen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seraj Al Kandere in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute Shjae Al Sallal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Msaed Shalan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Meshal Al Herz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emad Shabakhoh's late challenge caught a Glastonbury's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emad Shabakhoh helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Glastonbury booed when Sharjah FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emad Shabakhoh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Glastonbury's Fadhel Al Bloshi got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Yousef Sarkhoh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 47 played minutes Sharjah FC got a freekick which was hit by Yousef Sarkhoh. Seraj Al Kandere struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Joop Minnen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glastonbury.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaber Al Motar to strike the kick off in the second half. Msaed Shalan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ayman Jiragh in the 52nd minute of play. Seraj Al Kandere's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Joop Minnen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Msaed Shalan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yazeed Dehrab in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Glastonbury's goal looked a bit too open when Ayman Jiragh came free, but Msaed Shalan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Sharjah FC's goalkeeper Joop Minnen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Seraj Al Kandere. Joop Minnen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Seraj Al Kandere in the 65th minute. Msaed Shalan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yazeed Dehrab, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Glastonbury's Msaed Shalan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wasel Al Bahar in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Meshal Al Herz notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Glastonbury's Msaed Shalan. Msaed Shalan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 76 minutes into the match, Sharjah FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaber Al Motar came free, but Joop Minnen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Glastonbury's Joop Minnen threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yaqoot Al Saleh, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Fadhel Al Bloshi came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Glastonbury fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fadhel Al Bloshi couldn't finish the play. Msaed Shalan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wasel Al Bahar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joop Minnen made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Seraj Al Kandere sent off a good shot on target. 86 minutes into the match, Sharjah FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yaqoot Al Saleh came free, but Joop Minnen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, one of Glastonbury:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Glastonbury. Ayman Jiragh shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Msaed Shalan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Meshal Al Herz, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. A collision led to Sharjah FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Eesa Mandane hit a great ball. In the 101st minute Wasel Al Bahar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Msaed Shalan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Glastonbury players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sharjah FC.
