Anwar Al Muwail stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mostafa Abo Al Hasan's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bandar Al Enzi in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donato Pellecchia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute, Bandar Al Enzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mahdi Al Sallal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anwar Al Muwail having to interfere. In the 42ndth minute of the game Mostafa Abo Al Hasan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caladbolg Academy's Anwar Al Muwail was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute, Mahdi Al Sallal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute Bandar Al Enzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Pellecchia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to PAOK FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Mahdi Al Sallal hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mostafa Abo Al Hasan was the one to do the kick off. Cecilio Martxel charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cecilio Martxel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bandar Al Enzi took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donato Pellecchia. Donato Pellecchia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see PAOK FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
