In the 21st minute, Fawzy Boften sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SALT's Adnan Al Motar didn't even have to move. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hani Al Hashash in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donato Pellecchia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gibrel Taqi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 26th playminute. Donato Pellecchia made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Gibrel Taqi sent off a good shot on target. Donato Pellecchia came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by SALT's Hani Al Hashash. But to his dismay, Hani Al Hashash quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Donato Pellecchia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hani Al Hashash's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. The supporters of SALT booed when PAOK FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ghasan Al Ateqi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donato Pellecchia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hani Al Hashash in the 40th minute of the match. Salah Al Homaithe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Donato Pellecchia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Hani Al Hashash dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Donato Pellecchia, 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hani Al Hashash stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gibrel Taqi took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donato Pellecchia. Donato Pellecchia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 57th match minute, PAOK FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basem Al Khaled to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute Mostafa Abo Al Hasan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adnan Al Motar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 minutes of play, SALT's Salah Al Homaithe made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donato Pellecchia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gibrel Taqi took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donato Pellecchia. Donato Pellecchia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Donato Pellecchia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hani Al Hashash, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 74 minutes of play, SALT's Yousef Al Attar made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donato Pellecchia was left in no man's land by his defense there! A sloppy throw-in by Yousef Al Attar in the 80th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by PAOK FC's Ghasan Al Ateqi. In the 84thth minute of the game Hani Al Hashash who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PAOK FC's Donato Pellecchia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yousef Al Attar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Pellecchia having to interfere. When Ghasan Al Ateqi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. In the 89th match minute, PAOK FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ghasan Al Ateqi to maneuver through the defense. Salah Al Homaithe kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Gibrel Taqi made a precise shot to the right of Donato Pellecchia. PAOK FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SALT had played much better football throughout.
