GooL BaRa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Meqdad Al Matrok was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donato Pellecchia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waleed Al Qattamy in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, one of PAOK FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave GooL BaRa a penalty, 16 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Meqdad Al Matrok, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of PAOK FC's Donato Pellecchia. 0-1. 20 minutes into the match, GooL BaRa's goalkeeper Luai Dehrab had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Basem Al Khaled. Aws Al Sohali scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luai Dehrab, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute Mansour Al Herz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Pellecchia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donato Pellecchia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waleed Al Qattamy, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. A sloppy throw-in by Emad Al Zamel in the 62nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by PAOK FC's Basem Al Khaled. The PAOK FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching GooL BaRa's performance. The match ended with a win for GooL BaRa.
