Fuad Shams started the match with the kick off. Ajmán Club were furious when Faleh Al Mahmed was red carded, 3 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 3 minutes into the game, one of Ajmán Club:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Habib Al Hindi got free with Adnan Al Motar in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Curt Stöckli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hani Al Hashash in the 12th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, Yousef Al Attar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Curt Stöckli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ajmán Club's Curt Stöckli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gibrel Taqi in the 31st minute of play. Barakat Al Mehana hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Curt Stöckli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hani Al Hashash in the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Hani Al Hashash shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Curt Stöckli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ajmán Club's Curt Stöckli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salah Al Homaithe in the 41st minute of play. Barakat Al Mehana's late challenge caught a SALT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Barakat Al Mehana helped the player get up and apologised. Barakat Al Mehana hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Curt Stöckli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hani Al Hashash, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hani Al Hashash to strike the kick off in the second half. Curt Stöckli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salah Al Homaithe, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Habib Al Hindi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Adnan Al Motar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nader Abol kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. If Yasen Al Bahar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Curt Stöckli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salah Al Homaithe in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to SALT getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Hussain Shadad hit a great ball. Salah Al Homaithe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Curt Stöckli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, Salah Al Homaithe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Curt Stöckli. Salah Al Homaithe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. After having played for 72 minutes, Fuad Shams managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ajmán Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fuad Shams was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adnan Al Motar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fuad Shams, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adnan Al Motar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fuad Shams, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 80th minute Salah Al Homaithe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Curt Stöckli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The shot was stopped by Curt Stöckli but with some difficulty. Curt Stöckli made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Salah Al Homaithe sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute, Fuad Shams made a precise shot to the right of Adnan Al Motar. SALT's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. When the final whistle sounded SALT left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ajmán Club.
