An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamdan Al Shati in the 4th minute of play forced Shabab Alahli's goalkeeper Peter Kik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th match minute, Shabab Alahli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nayef Jiragh to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute, Nayef Jiragh left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Shabab Alahli fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Shabab Alahli's Peter Kik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fayez Al Abdullah in the 12th minute of play. Nayef Jiragh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahdi Al Towatan having to interfere. Shabab Alahli's Nayef Jiragh was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 15th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Nayef Jiragh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mahdi Al Towatan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lafi Al Adsani in the 22nd minute of play. Truro United's Mahdi Al Towatan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Al Adsani in the 23rd minute of play. After 27 minutes, Seraj Al Hadhod mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Truro United and the Shabab Alahli players grew even worse after the yellow card. Seraj Al Hadhod hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Mahdi Al Towatan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lafi Al Adsani in the 30th minute of play. Mahdi Al Towatan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nayef Jiragh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 34 in the game by Nayef Jiragh from a close distance when the talented Mahdi Al Towatan managed to make a qualified save. Truro United's players were relieved. In the 39thth minute of the game Lafi Al Adsani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Truro United's Mahdi Al Towatan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mahdi Al Towatan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nayef Jiragh in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Shabab Alahli's goal looked a bit too open when Fayez Al Abdullah came free, but Peter Kik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Lafi Al Adsani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mahdi Al Towatan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Truro United's Mahdi Al Towatan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Truro United from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nayef Jiragh made a kick off. The supporters of Shabab Alahli booed when Truro United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fayez Al Abdullah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lafi Al Adsani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Mahdi Al Towatan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mahdi Al Towatan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Al Adsani, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 68 minutes, Nayef Jiragh made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Truro United's Mahdi Al Towatan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 72 minutes into the match, Shabab Alahli's Nayef Jiragh sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mahdi Al Towatan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mahdi Al Saleh during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 72 minutes into the game, one of Truro United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mahdi Al Towatan went to the wrong direction when Nayef Jiragh was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Hamdan Al Shati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Kik having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hamdan Al Shati got free with Peter Kik in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute, Nayef Jiragh made a precise shot to the right of Mahdi Al Towatan. Truro United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 87 minutes into the match, Shabab Alahli's Nayef Jiragh sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mahdi Al Towatan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Truro United's zone, Nayef Jiragh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mahdi Al Towatan came out of the goal and Nayef Jiragh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nayef Jiragh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 100th minute the ball was on its way in behind Truro United's goalkeeper Mahdi Al Towatan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Shabab Alahli players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
