The supporters of Al-Jazira Sporting Club booed when Stockport AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yahya Al Besher didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Al-Jazira Sporting Club's goalkeeper Alexandros Karterouliotis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Al-Jazira Sporting Club's Alexandros Karterouliotis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yahya Al Besher in the 12th minute of play. Ali Shadad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Al-Jazira Sporting Club defense, Benjamin Kirchhofer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexandros Karterouliotis. The Al-Jazira Sporting Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexandros Karterouliotis should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Al-Jazira Sporting Club getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Msaed Bo Resley hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Shadad in the 22nd minute of play forced Al-Jazira Sporting Club's goalkeeper Alexandros Karterouliotis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin Kirchhofer struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Alexandros Karterouliotis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stockport AFC. Alexandros Karterouliotis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Meshari Al Sharah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 played minutes Al-Jazira Sporting Club got a freekick which was hit by Hussain Bo Qamaz. In the 30th minute, Msaed Bo Resley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandros Karterouliotis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 48 played minutes Fakher Sarkhoh rounded Stockport AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fakher Sarkhoh to make the kick off. After 68 minutes, Fakher Sarkhoh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Al-Jazira Sporting Club and the Stockport AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th match minute, Al-Jazira Sporting Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fakher Sarkhoh to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, Al-Jazira Sporting Club's goalkeeper Alexandros Karterouliotis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin Kirchhofer. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Yahya Al Besher hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Ammar Al Ammar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hussain Bo Qamaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th match minute, Al-Jazira Sporting Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yaseen Al Baghli to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Stockport AFC booed when Al-Jazira Sporting Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yaseen Al Baghli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Meshari Al Sharah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Benjamin Kirchhofer got free in front of the goal in the 98th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Alexandros Karterouliotis was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Stockport AFC played a much better game than Al-Jazira Sporting Club and deserved their victory. The Al-Jazira Sporting Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
