Mahdi Al Towatan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fayez Al Abdullah to make the kick off. After 73 minutes of play Al-Jazira Sporting Club's Shabeb Al Dabos was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Al-Jazira Sporting Club getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Shabeb Al Dabos hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Seraj Al Hadhod hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Jawad Bo Abbas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Al-Jazira Sporting Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Jawad Bo Abbas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mahdi Al Towatan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Bandar Al Hajri managed to get in a good position for a shot.
