An unexpectedly hard shot by Yasser Al Hammady in the 20th minute of play forced Business Bay's goalkeeper Aesem Al Arbash to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Al-Jazira Sporting Club's goalkeeper Alexandros Karterouliotis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 李钢军. The supporters of Al-Jazira Sporting Club booed when Business Bay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luai Shalan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Business Bay's goal looked a bit too open when Hussain Bo Qamaz came free, but Aesem Al Arbash reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Business Bay's Hamed Dehrab got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute of the match Yasser Al Hammady sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aesem Al Arbash skillfully saved the ball.

The wind increased when Fakher Sarkhoh made the kick off in the second half. Esmael Shabakhoh kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 56 minutes of play, Business Bay's Luai Shalan made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandros Karterouliotis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hussain Bo Qamaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Aesem Al Arbash tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Taqi Al Mansor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aesem Al Arbash was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. If Jawad Bo Abbas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fakher Sarkhoh struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Aesem Al Arbash didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Al-Jazira Sporting Club. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Taqi Al Mansor during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th match minute, Al-Jazira Sporting Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taqi Al Mansor to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Al-Jazira Sporting Club's Taqi Al Mansor got a free kick in the 92nd minute. There was no doubt that Business Bay were the better team. Business Bay's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
