But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamdan Al Shati couldn't finish the play. After 28 minutes of play, Truro United's Nader Al Qattan made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nader Al Herz was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Truro United getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Nader Al Qattan hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Jassem Al Zamel made a precise shot to the right of Nader Al Herz. Al Jazira Club - UAE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fayez Al Abdullah made a kick off.
