He walked away shaking his head. 6 minutes into the match, Best Playe notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Al Wasl Dubai FC's Sten Zander. Sten Zander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Najim Al Fadhalah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Best Playe in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sten Zander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 14 minutes into the match, Best Playe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sten Zander. Al Wasl Dubai FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Best Playe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 19 minutes into the game, Heal the World FC's Adnan Khorshed nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sten Zander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. If Adnan Khorshed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Al Wasl Dubai FC's goal looked a bit too open when Best Playe came free, but Sten Zander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shaheen Al Sherazi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Best Playe in the 28th minute of play forced Al Wasl Dubai FC's goalkeeper Sten Zander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Al Wasl Dubai FC defense, Best Playe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sten Zander. The Al Wasl Dubai FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sten Zander should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd minute, Hamed Al Sallal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sten Zander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Najim Al Fadhalah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Najim Al Fadhalah in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sten Zander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 50 played minutes Heal the World FC got a freekick which was hit by Barrak Al Dowaisan. After 51 minutes, Darweesh Al Sharah mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Al Wasl Dubai FC and the Heal the World FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Best Playe in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sten Zander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Heal the World FC's Best Playe was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 53rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A collision led to Al Wasl Dubai FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ali Al Arbash hit a great ball. The long shot by Ghanim Al Holey in the 58th minute really tested Sten Zander's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 61st minute Heal the World FC were awarded a corner. Adnan Khorshed went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Heal the World FC's Adnan Khorshed to fire away a dangerous shot which Sten Zander despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 64th minute Adnan Khorshed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Zander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdul Mohsen Al Sallal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barrak Al Jalahma having to interfere. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Al Wasl Dubai FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adnan Khorshed was slow to take the kick. During this time Heal the World FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 77th minute, Najim Al Fadhalah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Heal the World FC's Barrak Al Jalahma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Al Arbash in the 81st minute of play. Sten Zander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Best Playe's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Al Wasl Dubai FC's Sten Zander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Al Wasl Dubai FC from getting a goal against them. Best Playe took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sten Zander. Sten Zander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Sten Zander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Best Playe in the 92nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Najim Al Fadhalah in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sten Zander saved Al Wasl Dubai FC from getting behind. The Heal the World FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Heal the World FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
