In the 29th minute, Derar Al Abdullah ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Edvin Nordlander was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 40 minutes into the match, Presidental Guard 2011's goal looked a bit too open when Derar Al Abdullah came free, but Sven-Edvin Nordlander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute Haider Hayat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Edvin Nordlander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmad Khorshed was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Presidental Guard 2011's Ahmad Khorshed got a free kick in the 55th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Derar Al Abdullah kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sven-Edvin Nordlander. That made the score 0-2 in the 58 minute of play. Sven-Edvin Nordlander made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Derar Al Abdullah sent off a good shot on target. Sven-Edvin Nordlander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fahhad Al Jarah in the 63rd minute of play.
