When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Hashem Ashkanani sped through Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yazeed Al Saleh. The supporters of Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain booed when Fuyaira SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maitham Al Rodhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dawood Al Enzi kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. When Shjae Al Sallal fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fuyaira SC's protests and gave Shjae Al Sallal a yellow card for diving instead. Shjae Al Sallal hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute of the match Fuyaira SC got a corner. Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adem Boften ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Fuyaira SC's Adem Boften to fire away a dangerous shot which Yazeed Al Saleh despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Fuyaira SC booed when Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eshaq Al Khars didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yasser Shadad to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Fuyaira SC's goal looked a bit too open when Salam Al Hashash came free, but Aesem Khaja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The goalkeeper, Yazeed Al Saleh, was totally fooled by Fuyaira SC's Adem Boften, who 67 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Yasser Shadad might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aesem Khaja. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yasser Shadad ran back to his position shaking his head. Fuyaira SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain the free kick. After 94 played minutes Al Arabi Umm Al Quwain got a freekick which was hit by Eshaq Al Khars. Yazeed Al Saleh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maitham Al Rodhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Fuyaira SC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
