Oleg Gluzdovskiy's late challenge caught a Staines's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oleg Gluzdovskiy helped the player get up and apologised. Matvey Alov kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Highbury and Islington's Matvey Alov got a free kick in the 36th minute. When Dmitriy Gorshkov fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Staines's protests and gave Dmitriy Gorshkov a yellow card for diving instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Valentin Mazurin made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Highbury and Islington's Matvey Alov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. With his leg Pavel Ignatenko managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Highbury and Islington's Yulian Pestov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 94th minute, Staines's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Yulian Pestov fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 97th minute, Matvey Alov fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Pavel Ignatenko, passed just outside the right post. A collision led to Staines getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Leonard Hlopetskiy hit a great ball. When Artem Korpisko came up free with the goalie in the 102nd minute, the Staines fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artem Korpisko couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Highbury and Islington players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Staines.
