When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ippolit Antyshev made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, University of Cambridge's Evgeniy Nikiforov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ilya Kamburov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Evgeniy Nikiforov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Evgeniy Nikiforov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. University of Cambridge's Ippolit Dobrovolskiy got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filimon Rakhmanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filimon Mileshko having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filimon Rakhmanov in the 87th minute of play forced University of Cambridge's goalkeeper Filimon Mileshko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Ippolit Antyshev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 92 minutes, Ippolit Antyshev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ely United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ippolit Antyshev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filimon Rakhmanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
