With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Eccles AFC booed when University of Cambridge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonid Nikolaev didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the University of Cambridge defense, Dmitriy Kuzmin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filimon Mileshko. The University of Cambridge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filimon Mileshko should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Eccles AFC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
