Sergey Kontsenebin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Konstantin Vorobiev having to make a save. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denis Pudovkin made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Denis Pudovkin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstantin Vorobiev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Great Yarmouth AFC's zone, Oleg Kudryashov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruslan Tishkov came out of the goal and Oleg Kudryashov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 70 played minutes, Great Yarmouth AFC's Nikolay Shumilin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Konstantin Vorobiev came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Great Yarmouth AFC reached it. After a rather tough play, Great Yarmouth AFC's Andrey Kovtun got a free kick in the 77th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Atherstone's Marat Kunikov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruslan Tishkov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Sergey Kontsenebin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstantin Vorobiev having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Sergey Kontsenebin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Great Yarmouth AFC's Andrey Kovtun got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 93 minutes of play, Great Yarmouth AFC's Denis Pudovkin made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Konstantin Vorobiev was left in no man's land by his defense there!
