Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Yakov Artemev made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rdth minute of the game Yakov Artemev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Northampton FC's Filipp Filimonov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arkadiy Agalakov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipp Filimonov having to interfere. If Yakov Artemev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Seascale's zone, Georgiy Malevskiy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egor Fomin came out of the goal and Georgiy Malevskiy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute Yakov Artemev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipp Filimonov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egor Fomin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georgiy Malevskiy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egor Fomin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timofey Kolesnikov in the 20th minute of play. Northampton FC's Filipp Filimonov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Northampton FC from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Viktor Moiseenko during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 28 minutes into the game, one of Seascale:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Northampton FC a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aleksandr Larionov, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Seascale's Egor Fomin. 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Georgiy Malevskiy in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egor Fomin saved Seascale from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timofey Kolesnikov to make the kick off. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Seascale's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aleksandr Larionov was slow to take the kick. During this time Northampton FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Northampton FC's corner Aleksandr Larionov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Egor Fomin quite easily take care of the ball. Timofey Kolesnikov was extremely unlucky when he, in the 54th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Filipp Filimonov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arkadiy Agalakov in the 56th minute of play. Northampton FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 73rd minute, Northampton FC's Timofey Kolesnikov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Egor Fomin. Egor Fomin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Yakov Artemev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipp Filimonov having to interfere. Arkadiy Agalakov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aleksandr Hartukov hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Arkadiy Agalakov charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arkadiy Agalakov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Northampton FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
