The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the match, Ross on Wye City's goal looked a bit too open when Leonid Plyusnin came free, but Leonid Berdnikov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zinoviy Perepelkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, FC Aktobe's goalkeeper Zinoviy Perepelkin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl Krichmar. Zinoviy Perepelkin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Blankov's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Leonid Berdnikov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fedor Mikhailov, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Karl Krichmar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ross on Wye City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl Krichmar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arseniy Sotnik in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zinoviy Perepelkin saved FC Aktobe from getting behind. Leonid Berdnikov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fedor Mikhailov, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Arseniy Sotnik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arseniy Sotnik took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zinoviy Perepelkin. Zinoviy Perepelkin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Arseniy Sotnik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zinoviy Perepelkin having to interfere. Dmitriy Makovetskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zinoviy Perepelkin having to interfere. With a little luck, FC Aktobe's Zinoviy Perepelkin got control of the ball when Karl Krichmar tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Blankov to make the kick off. Zinoviy Perepelkin came out of the goal and Dmitriy Makovetskiy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dmitriy Makovetskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Karl Krichmar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zinoviy Perepelkin. FC Aktobe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl Krichmar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 66th minute, Karl Krichmar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zinoviy Perepelkin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl Krichmar, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. A collision led to FC Aktobe getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Denis Shubin hit a great ball. Zinoviy Perepelkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Nizhinskiy in the 87th minute of play. 3-1 became the score in the 89th minute when David Blankov elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. David Blankov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Zinoviy Perepelkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Arseniy Sotnik came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Ross on Wye City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arseniy Sotnik couldn't finish the play. Zinoviy Perepelkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Blankov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Ross on Wye City were the better team. Ross on Wye City's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
