Svyatoslav Kuznetsov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Leonid Berdnikov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Ross on Wye City's Leonid Berdnikov got control of the ball when Mikhail Chuvilev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vladimir Rozhkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Krichmar in the 28th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mikhail Chuvilev got free with Leonid Berdnikov in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Ross on Wye City's Arseniy Sotnik slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vladimir Rozhkov. That made the score 2-2 after 56 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arseniy Sotnik in the 60th minute of play forced Knaresborough's goalkeeper Vladimir Rozhkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl Krichmar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Vladimir Rozhkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimir Rozhkov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl Krichmar in the 76th minute. Dmitriy Makovetskiy succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 78th playminute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dmitriy Makovetskiy got free with Vladimir Rozhkov in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute, Ross on Wye City's David Blankov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vladimir Rozhkov. Vladimir Rozhkov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egor Kondratiev in the 84th minute of play forced Ross on Wye City's goalkeeper Leonid Berdnikov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mikhail Chuvilev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egor Kondratiev might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonid Berdnikov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Egor Kondratiev ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 94th minute Ivan Rybalko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonid Berdnikov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle went the supporters of Ross on Wye City were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Knaresborough side.
