Mikhail Chuvilev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zinoviy Perepelkin having to interfere. In the 16th minute Egor Kondratiev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zinoviy Perepelkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Rybalko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zinoviy Perepelkin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Egor Kondratiev's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Zinoviy Perepelkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikhail Chuvilev in the 24th minute of play. Svyatoslav Kuznetsov hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Zinoviy Perepelkin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egor Kondratiev, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonid Plyusnin got free with Vladimir Rozhkov in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mikhail Chuvilev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute of the match Mikhail Ageev shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zinoviy Perepelkin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Egor Kondratiev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zinoviy Perepelkin having to make a save. Konstantin Zubrov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute of the match Mikhail Ageev shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zinoviy Perepelkin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute Mikhail Chuvilev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zinoviy Perepelkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Rybalko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vladimir Rozhkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedor Mikhailov in the 48th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fedor Mikhailov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstantin Zubrov in the 53rd minute of play forced FC Aktobe's goalkeeper Zinoviy Perepelkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Rybalko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zinoviy Perepelkin having to interfere. When Vladimir Zaitsev fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Aktobe's protests and gave Vladimir Zaitsev a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 played minutes FC Aktobe got a freekick which was hit by Vladimir Zaitsev. 63 minutes into the match, Knaresborough's goal looked a bit too open when Leonid Plyusnin came free, but Vladimir Rozhkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64thth minute of the game Egor Kondratiev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Aktobe's Zinoviy Perepelkin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 65th minute, Gennadiy Kallash hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zinoviy Perepelkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikhail Ageev in the 67th minute of the match. After having played for 71 minutes, Egor Kondratiev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knaresborough's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egor Kondratiev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, FC Aktobe's goal looked a bit too open when Svyatoslav Kuznetsov came free, but Zinoviy Perepelkin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artem Bugaev's late challenge caught a Knaresborough's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artem Bugaev helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Knaresborough booed when FC Aktobe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artem Bugaev didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mikhail Chuvilev came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Knaresborough fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikhail Chuvilev couldn't finish the play. Mikhail Chuvilev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 91 minutes, Mikhail Chuvilev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knaresborough's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikhail Chuvilev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the FC Aktobe defense, Egor Kondratiev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zinoviy Perepelkin. The FC Aktobe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zinoviy Perepelkin should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Knaresborough could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Aktobe throughout the match.
