Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sergey Semizorov made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petr Kudryashov in the 3rd minute of play forced Knapton United's goalkeeper Ruslan Sazonov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Knapton United's Ruslan Sazonov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gennadiy Istomin in the 5th minute of play. Ippolit Galaktionov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Vladislav Shiryaev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladislav Shiryaev came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Knapton United's Sergey Semizorov. But to his dismay, Sergey Semizorov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 12th minute, Petr Kudryashov made a precise shot to the right of Ruslan Sazonov. Knapton United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. A collision led to Knapton United getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Kapiton Aksinin hit a great ball. Ruslan Sazonov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gennadiy Istomin in the 16th minute of the match. Ruslan Sazonov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gennadiy Istomin in the 21st minute of play. Vladislav Shiryaev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergey Semizorov in the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Ippolit Galaktionov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vladislav Shiryaev. Thurlaston's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ippolit Galaktionov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Ruslan Sazonov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petr Kudryashov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arseniy Rodionov during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th match minute, Knapton United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arseniy Rodionov to maneuver through the defense. Ippolit Galaktionov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Vladislav Shiryaev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ippolit Galaktionov came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Knapton United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ippolit Galaktionov couldn't finish the play. Vladislav Shiryaev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ippolit Galaktionov, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Andrey Boichenko kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Knapton United's Ippolit Galaktionov tried to score from far away in the 38th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Vladislav Shiryaev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergey Semizorov, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andrey Boichenko during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Thurlaston's Andrey Boichenko got a free kick in the 45th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Ippolit Galaktionov could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Vladislav Shiryaev however easily saved by the left post. Ruslan Sazonov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gennadiy Istomin in the 48th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Petr Kudryashov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ruslan Sazonov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petr Kudryashov in the 52nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Thurlaston's Gennadiy Istomin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ruslan Sazonov. That made the score 2-2 after 54 minutes of play. Vladislav Shiryaev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergey Semizorov, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ippolit Galaktionov in the 60th minute of play forced Thurlaston's goalkeeper Vladislav Shiryaev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 played minutes Thurlaston got a freekick which was hit by Andrey Boichenko. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Ruslan Sazonov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 71st minute, Petr Kudryashov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ruslan Sazonov. The goal made the score 2-3. When Gennadiy Istomin fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Thurlaston's protests and gave Gennadiy Istomin a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergey Semizorov in the 75th minute of play forced Thurlaston's goalkeeper Vladislav Shiryaev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ippolit Galaktionov in the 77th minute of play forced Thurlaston's goalkeeper Vladislav Shiryaev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Gennadiy Istomin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruslan Sazonov was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 88th minute Sergey Semizorov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladislav Shiryaev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 played minutes Thurlaston got a freekick which was hit by Gennadiy Istomin. The Thurlaston players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
