With his leg Pavel Polunin managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when West Kirby City's Vladimir Shuikov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Eastham City's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniil Lyubimenko was slow to take the kick. During this time West Kirby City's players had a chance to rest. In the 62ndth minute of the game Roman Glichev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eastham City's Pavel Polunin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roman Glichev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavel Polunin having to interfere. After some careless play in the West Kirby City defense, Fedor Zhdanov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladimir Vabsanskiy. The West Kirby City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladimir Vabsanskiy should have stopped the shot. In the 77th match minute, West Kirby City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Glichev to maneuver through the defense. Vladimir Shuikov took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pavel Polunin. Pavel Polunin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 86th minute, Vladimir Shuikov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pavel Polunin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. West Kirby City's Leonid Orekhov got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
