The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dmitriy Kratov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Torquay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Timur Sobolev should have stopped the shot. Torquay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beverley United the free kick. There was no doubt that Beverley United were the better team. Beverley United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
