Spectators: 8031 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1881, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nikita Shuiskiy started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Freshwater got a freekick which was hit by Vladimir Komarov. Sergey Malevskiy's late challenge caught a Freshwater's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sergey Malevskiy helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Freshwater booed when Morden FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergey Malevskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonid Tsvetkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrey Bobylev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Freshwater's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Andrey Bobylev 12 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 20 minutes into the game, when Arseniy Guschin put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Morden FC booed when Freshwater was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arseniy Guschin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Ilya Lazarev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morden FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ilya Lazarev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonid Tsvetkov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Freshwater's Leonid Tsvetkov got control of the ball when Arkadiy Grechenkov tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Morden FC's Irakliy Kubichev got a free kick in the 25th minute. Denis Bakhtin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonid Alenichev in the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th minute Ilya Lazarev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonid Tsvetkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonid Tsvetkov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arkadiy Grechenkov in the 37th minute. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Freshwater's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ilya Lazarev was slow to take the kick. During this time Morden FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Morden FC's Ilya Lazarev to fire away a dangerous shot which Leonid Tsvetkov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 40thth minute of the game Andrey Bobylev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Freshwater's Leonid Tsvetkov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Sergey Malevskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonid Tsvetkov came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Morden FC's Ilya Lazarev. But to his dismay, Ilya Lazarev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ilya Lazarev made a kick off. In the 55th minute, David Kirichenko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Morden FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 60th minute Arkadiy Grechenkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonid Tsvetkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Vladimir Komarov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Freshwater's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Morden FC the free kick. In the 61st match minute, Freshwater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimir Komarov to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrey Bobylev in the 69th minute of play forced Freshwater's goalkeeper Leonid Tsvetkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 70 played minutes Freshwater got a freekick which was hit by Vladimir Komarov. Andrey Bobylev might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonid Tsvetkov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrey Bobylev ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 76th minute, Ilya Lazarev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonid Tsvetkov was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. David Kirichenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Leonid Tsvetkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Freshwater's goal looked a bit too open when Arkadiy Grechenkov came free, but Leonid Tsvetkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Andrey Bobylev made a precise shot to the right of Leonid Tsvetkov. Freshwater's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. If Arkadiy Grechenkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 minutes, Vyacheslav Mozgovoy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morden FC and the Freshwater players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vyacheslav Mozgovoy hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
