In the 43rd match minute, Cheddar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evgeniy Minkov to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yuriy Bragin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. David Kirichenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Konstantin Guschin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergey Malevskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Cheddar's goal looked a bit too open when Andrey Bobylev came free, but Konstantin Guschin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Cheddar booed when Morden FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kirill Nabutov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Konstantin Guschin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Morden FC. After some careless play in the Cheddar defense, Sergey Malevskiy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Konstantin Guschin. The Cheddar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Konstantin Guschin should have stopped the shot. Ilya Lazarev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kirill Nabutov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Konstantin Guschin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Konstantin Guschin came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Morden FC's Andrey Bobylev. But to his dismay, Andrey Bobylev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. There was no doubt that Morden FC were the better team. Morden FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
