Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dmitriy Grishkevich took the kick off in the first half of the match. Erith were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Oxford's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. David Shilov took the corner. In the 12th minute Dmitriy Grishkevich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vadim Stepanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 played minutes Oxford got a freekick which was hit by Vadim Merkurov. After a rather tough play, Oxford's Valeriy Egorov got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute Gerasim Ovchinnikov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evgeniy Zaleev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grigoriy Sitnikov in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Evgeniy Zaleev, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Dmitriy Grishkevich managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oxford's supporters rose to their feet, but Dmitriy Grishkevich was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vadim Stepanov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute Gerasim Ovchinnikov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evgeniy Zaleev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grigoriy Sitnikov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 35 played minutes Gerasim Ovchinnikov rounded Oxford's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 38th match minute, Erith was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Polikarp Borisov to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

If Gerasim Ovchinnikov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filimon Chuvikov hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Dmitriy Grishkevich's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vadim Stepanov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Oxford's Dmitriy Grishkevich slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vadim Stepanov. That made the score 1-1 after 60 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vadim Merkurov during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Erith booed when Oxford was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vadim Merkurov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Polikarp Borisov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the game, Ignat Obushenkov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oxford's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Erith the free kick. In the 70th minute, Ignat Obushenkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evgeniy Zaleev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerasim Ovchinnikov in the 71st minute of the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Klim Burataev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erith's supporters crossed their fingers, but Klim Burataev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evgeniy Zaleev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerasim Ovchinnikov in the 77th minute of play. When Grigoriy Sitnikov came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Erith fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Grigoriy Sitnikov couldn't finish the play. Dmitriy Grishkevich struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Vadim Stepanov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oxford. Innokentiy Musiy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Vadim Stepanov made a huge save. A collision led to Erith getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Klim Burataev hit a great ball. Innokentiy Musiy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Vadim Stepanov made a huge save. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Erith's goalkeeper Vadim Stepanov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erith's Vadim Stepanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dmitriy Grishkevich in the 93rd minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
