Denis Eroshkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lev Samsonov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gleb Maslyukov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Canvey Island FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Leonid Azanov scored to the left of an out of position Evlampiy Mamatov, making the score, 1-0. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Gleb Maslyukov sped through Speed&Goal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Denis Eroshkin. Denis Eroshkin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gleb Maslyukov, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 36th minute Gleb Maslyukov suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 37 played minutes Speed&Goal got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Buznikin. After recieving a nice pass, Canvey Island FC's Rostislav Choglokov tried to score from far away in the 38th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Stepan Kulebyakin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute Lev Samsonov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Eroshkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evgeniy Kazakov kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Oleg Gorodetskiy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Evlampiy Mamatov. Canvey Island FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Lev Samsonov made the kick off in the second half. Lev Samsonov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Denis Eroshkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lev Samsonov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lev Samsonov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Eroshkin having to interfere. Canvey Island FC's Evlampiy Mamatov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stepan Alekseenko in the 63rd minute of play. Stepan Alekseenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Stepan Alekseenko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Speed&Goal's supporters rose to their feet, but Stepan Alekseenko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evlampiy Mamatov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stepan Kulebyakin's late challenge caught a Speed&Goal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stepan Kulebyakin helped the player get up and apologised. Stepan Kulebyakin kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Lev Samsonov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Denis Eroshkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gennadiy Shiryaev during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Speed&Goal getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Gennadiy Shiryaev hit a great ball. Canvey Island FC's Evlampiy Mamatov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stepan Alekseenko in the 76th minute of play. Leonid Azanov took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evlampiy Mamatov. Evlampiy Mamatov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Stepan Alekseenko might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evlampiy Mamatov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stepan Alekseenko ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 85 minutes, Stepan Alekseenko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Speed&Goal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stepan Alekseenko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonid Azanov in the 87th minute of play forced Canvey Island FC's goalkeeper Evlampiy Mamatov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Speed&Goal's goalkeeper Denis Eroshkin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lev Samsonov. When the referee ended the match the Speed&Goal players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
