Skyfire FC's Roman Elin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Skyfire FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evgeniy Borkovskiy in the 10th minute of play forced Canvey Island FC's goalkeeper Evlampiy Mamatov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evgeniy Borkovskiy in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evlampiy Mamatov saved Canvey Island FC from getting behind. 14 minutes into the match, Albert Gusev notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Canvey Island FC's Evlampiy Mamatov. Evlampiy Mamatov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Albert Gusev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Albert Gusev took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evlampiy Mamatov. Evlampiy Mamatov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After having played for 33 minutes, Gleb Maslyukov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canvey Island FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gleb Maslyukov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lev Samsonov in the 35th minute of play forced Skyfire FC's goalkeeper Roman Elin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Elin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gleb Maslyukov's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Evlampiy Mamatov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evgeniy Borkovskiy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Canvey Island FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Skyfire FC:s goal. The referee gave Skyfire FC a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aleksey Bunich, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Canvey Island FC's Evlampiy Mamatov. 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gleb Maslyukov to make the kick off. When Canvey Island FC's Lev Samsonov in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Skyfire FC's goalie prevented a goal. The Skyfire FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
