Rudolf Fomichev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrey Galanin in the 10th minute of the match. Andrey Mogilnyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vadim Gendelev in the 12th minute of play. Andrey Zurabov came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Andrey Mogilnyi could save by the left post. When Shaftesbury's Vadim Gendelev in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grays United's goalie prevented a goal. Aleksey Shilov hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Andrey Zurabov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shaftesbury's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrey Zurabov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrey Mogilnyi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 23 played minutes Shaftesbury got a freekick which was hit by Andrey Kapustin. Andrey Mogilnyi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vadim Gendelev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shaftesbury's Rudolf Fomichev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zinoviy Molochnikov in the 30th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Andrey Kapustin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Andrey Zurabov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Andrey Zurabov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th match minute, Grays United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleksey Shilov to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the match, Grays United's goalkeeper Andrey Mogilnyi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrey Zurabov.

The wind increased when Vadim Gendelev made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrey Zurabov in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrey Mogilnyi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 53 minutes into the game, Andrey Kapustin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shaftesbury's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grays United the free kick. Andrey Kapustin hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Andrey Zurabov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shaftesbury's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vadim Gendelev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andrey Zurabov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Andrey Mogilnyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Vadim Gendelev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Andrey Mogilnyi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andrey Mogilnyi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrey Zurabov in the 80th minute of the match. Vadim Gendelev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andrey Galanin hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Shaftesbury's Vadim Gendelev got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andrey Mogilnyi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrey Zurabov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shaftesbury walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
